Yes, it has been awhile since I’ve had a blog post… Yes, it has been a long while; let’s just say a couple months. I have my reasons for leaving you all on the verge of breathless waiting to hear more about my life, I really do. One being, the best dog in the entire world past away this summer. Those who knew Chip knew that he was my number one companion. Those who didn’t know Chip, probably thought Erin Nosaluk was my number one companion… You were mistaken.
Besides dwelling on that, I’ve also been doing quite a lot of nothing this summer, I have dubbed this summer probably the worst one I’ve had all my life. I started the summer by telling Leif Gobeil about how awesome summer usually is for me, and I was trying to be romantic by telling him “This summer will be the best summer because you’re in my life.” Because it was Leif, he didn’t understand the romanticism and forgot what I said about thirty seconds later. I’m not going to worry about hurting his feelings because he’ll read this, get mad, and then forget about it and wonder why he was so upset in the first place. Did I mention this is the man I love.
Besides it being a stressful summer, it was filled with a lot of cottage visits, pub visits and drinking a lot of new and interesting beers… As usual. Now that the summer is over, I’m attending the library and information technology course at Red River College. It’s awesome, but I don’t know how I’m going to deal with juggling two jobs and full time school. It’s just another year in the life of Cassie Page I guess.
